Summit on the Future Live Turnout

As some of you may already know, James City County is in the beginning stages of the Engage 2045 process to update the Comprehensive Plan. To kick off community engagement, the Community Participation Team (CPT) and Planning Division recently held the Summit on the Future and used live polling and various station activities to understand the community’s aspirations and hopes.

Though the weather was cold and rainy, an estimated 120 people participated at six locations across the county. This surpassed similar turnout for similar early-stage comprehensive plan update forums in the past.
