The Housing Office is Open by Appointment

The lobby of the Housing Office is available to submit and pick-up paperwork or to discuss your needs with Housing staff. Those exhibiting symptoms of COVID-19 or recently exposed to a sick person will not be allowed into the building.

Paperwork may be submitted to the Housing Office by mail, email, fax or left in the drop box on the front of the building. Most appointments can be made by phone or video conference.

Mainstream Voucher Waiting List Open Online Only April 15, 9 a.m. - June 30, 4 p.m. Opens in new window

Mainstream Voucher applicant must have a household member who is Non-Elderly (at least 18 years old and not yet 62) with disabilities, must have previously experienced homelessness, and must currently be a client in a permanent supportive housing, rapid rehousing project, or exiting an institution.

Preference will be given to qualified applicants who live and/or work in James City County. Please be advised that applicants who are not qualified will not be added to the Waiting List.
